A Typical Day...

Some of your inquiring minds have asked just "what do I do all day in Korea?" Here's a typical Friday for you:
We wake up, make a tent in the living room and Ella puts Cookie back to bed with a great book of course.

She then runs around a cheers for probably no reason at all.

We might take a walk to the Ville and try on cool shades.

And drink Gatorade that tastes nothing like the Gatorade in the states. Very weird.

We hang out with Daddy as he gets to try on his Korean outfit for the parade.

A quick preview pic of what the parade will hold...future blog post to come...

Then it's night time and the fun really begins. First we attend a Hail and Farewell and Ella is a hit there. Dancing and singing for everyone. She even applauded and cheered at just the right times in the Colonel's speech which in turn brought even bigger cheers from the crowd. THEN, somehow I am convinced by Tom's boss that it is perfectly OK to bring my almost 2 year old into a Korean Karaoke bar. I might or might not have had a little too much to drink to make a sane decision, but it was a great night nonetheless! (Can I get in trouble for posting this?)

I had to drink to listen to these guys singing...

Tom working the mike just like in his Boy Band days.

The Colonel taking his shot at Livin on a Prayer by Madonna.

What? You don't have a family picture in a Karaoke bar?

Ella loving Marcel:)

Dancing with daddy.

And she's out. Don't worry. We left a few minutes later. But not without a pic of Ms. Kim, owner of the Karaoke "bar".

"You have a baby? In a bar?" Thanks for making that saying from Sweet Home Alabama real:) I too love the pic of her asleep, and the family pic:)
This post reminded me of when I was young. My brothers and I use to make tents all around the house. It kept us busy for hours!
