Happiest Place on Earth

Really? I don't think I would categorize this place as such, but Ella liked it. If we were to do this all over again, we would definitely take advantage of the hotel room and put Ella down for a midday nap. We spent ALL day at the Magic Kingdom with Auntie Monica and soon to be Uncle James and while Ella had a lot of fun, she was definitely overtired. But what's a trip to Disney without a two year old having a few meltdowns? She hasn't stopped singing "It's a Small World" and the pirates "yo ho ho a pirate's life for me" since we got home. She amazes me with how easily she memorizes songs. (but let's be serious...they pretty much drill those two songs into your head during the rides, right?) One negative thing about the Magic Kingdom...no alcohol? Poor Tom. Even a cold beer sounded good to me! If you would like to view more photos click here.

My favorite photo from the day

Can you spot Ella and Tom?
She LOVED the roller coaster. I think they rode this thing 10x
Front row! No fear whatsoever.

Watching the race cars while the rest went on Space Mountain

Sweet:)
This bridge was pretty tricky to cross. I definitely almost fell over.
So cute running after daddy but making sure mama wasn't far behind;)

She hated every moment of it.
Loved racing the cars with Daddy though!

Way overdue post..Epcot

When we were home in FL we took Ella to Disney World. She absolutely loved every park and every ride. I think we picked the perfect week to go too because the weather was gorgeous and there weren't lines for any rides (minus Dumbo, but when is that ride NOT busy??) Here are a few pictures from our first day (half day really) that we spent at Epcot. Personally, I think Tom had the most fun as he was able to drink around the world. At one point he had more beers than hands so the pregnant chick (me) had to carry a beer. All in all a nice way to start out our Disney vacation...if you can ever call visiting Disney a vacation.

After the Nemo ride checking out the fish tanks

Daddy enjoys a beer while...

Ella enjoys a gigantic pretzel. Can you guess what country we were in?

This is the typical pose Ella gave when wanting to see a character. She loved them from afar, but hated them upclose. She does however enjoy looking back at the photos. So do we...laughing;)

31 weeks!

Time is really flying lately. Everyone always says the second pregnancy goes by faster and it really does. We have so much to get done around the house. I feel like the list is endless. Thank goodness I have a husband who is patient and level-headed. Everytime I feel overwhelmed he is there to reassure me everything will be just fine. I want the house to be perfect before Miss P arrives and to be honest...we haven't bought her a single item yet:( Once the house is all re-organized, and Ella's closet is revamped in her new bedroom(leaving the nursery lots of space for teeny tiny clothing) I promise we are going shopping JUST for her! And maybe we will even name her...that's a big maybe though;)

Here I am at 31 weeks pregnant. At yesterday's appointment I was able to see the Dr. who delivered Ella and he gave me an u/s so Tom and Ella finally saw this baby! Everything is going great. She is head down, in position with plenty of fluid and a strong heartbeat. And apparently I ate too much on vacation because I gained 11 lbs in 6 weeks. The Dr. told me to "curb my appetite". I laughed at him hoping he was just kidding...

A lovely FL day

The next few blog posts will be catching up on our 3.5 week trip to FL. This particular post was a great day. We drove to Citrus County to have lunch with Tom's grandma and Uncle Joe. It was a gorgeous, sunny day and having lunch on the water made me realize just how much I miss the sunshine state. Ella could barely eat because she was so excited to look at the boats and throw leaves in the water. She kept saying "Mama, come on, let's go look at the boats in the water!" After lunch we decided a quick stop at Weeki Wachee, a FL tradition, was a must. We watched the Mermaid show which Ella seemed to really love. Now she believes every woman that swims is a mermaid. Ask Aunt Monica whom Ella referred to as a mermaid the other day in my parents pool;) All in all, quite the perfect day.

How appropriate is this sign considering I feel like I'm the size of a manatee?

My beee-utiful Sprinkle!

I am one lucky girl to have a best friend like Bridget! She thinks every baby deserves to be celebrated so she threw me the most wonderful baby sprinkle with my closest friends and family. It was perfect! I loved it and I was able to catch up with a lot of people. Everyone was way too generous and spoiled the little Miss entirely too much. It made me even more excited to become a mama of two GIRLS:) Less than 10 weeks now! To view all the photos, click here.

Beach bum!

Last week the weather was gorgeous so we took advantage of it and headed to Clearwater Beach. Even though I grew up in FL and was at the beach a lot, there is something different about it now. Taking Ella there and watching her completely happy playing in the sand, building castles and begging to swim in the water even though her little lips were purple...just makes me smile. She really loved it all. Being there with Tom and having him carry all the heavy stuff was awesome as well;) Gosh it's so nice to be home. And yes, by home, I mean Florida.
