It was eaten in a matter of minutes. Rudolph barely got a red m&m as a nose before we were tearing this to pieces. Ella ran to go potty, came back to the table and asked "where did the reindeer go?" In our bellies, sweet child. It was like we were a bunch of scavengers who hadn't eaten in days. What the hell else do you do with a gingerbread house? Anyone who knows me, knows sweets do not last if they are in front of me. I will sit and eat it until it's gone. It's just my nature. Sorry. So if you are one of those people who like to stare at your cute gingerbread house for weeks, don't build it anywhere near me. I was THAT girl squeezing the frosting into my mouth.

Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I am so grateful for everything in my life. I am especially grateful to have Tom home this year with us and for me to not have any morning sickness like last year;) We loved having Tom's brother Chris and his family over and our dear friends Chris and Josie. Dinner was delicious, dessert even better and being together as a family was the absolute best. Tom and I realized it's been 8 years for him and 7 years for me since we've been able to spend Thanksgiving with our big family back home. We definitely miss that part the most. But we make the best of our situation and luckily I have almost mastered my dad's gravy making skills...almost. :) Here are a few pictures of my little turkeys on Thanksgiving day. My mom made them these matching shirts! How cute are they?!

Ms. Josie with Maddie (Madeline just adores her!)

She's really into the hair pulling thing right now and Ella apparently can't get enough of the torture.

How sweet is that smile?

Ella blowing kisses on her cheeks!

I forgot...
...to introduce you to Ella's pet fishes. Yes, we thought it would be a great birthday present for her. Actually I just wanted a new night light for her room, but it turns out you can't even keep the light on at night for them...I guess it ruins their sleep;) Anyway, here are our two newest members of the family, Tinker and Ruby. Ella named them. Tinker after Tinkerbell (doesn't take a genius to figure that one out). Ruby is after one of her favorite shows, Max and Ruby. Ella has already colored on their tank. Tom HATES cleaning the tank, and I hate feeding them (that smell is gross). Needless to say, I don't know if anyone really even likes these fish. But here they are in all their glory. Enjoy the photos. I can almost guarantee you I will never post about them again unless it's their time to "go".

Ella does enjoy watching them while she colors though...in between coloring on their tank of course to make it "pretty".

Matchy Matchy
I always said my girls will never have anything that matches. (never say never, right?) But shoot! It's really cute when they do! And I know it won't be long before Ella says "No way...don't dress her like me!" I'm taking advantage while I can. Da Bunny bought these matching pajamas for the girls back in September when we visited her in NY and I adore them. Love them in anything animal print. And SO super soft and cozy. I want a pair in my size especially with the cold weather lately. Does Carter's make my size?

Are those cheeks the most kissable cheeks EVER?

This picture was taken right before Madeline ripped a ton of hair out of Ella's head;)

Hello November!
Time is just flying by. How is Madeline already 4 months old? She started sitting up this month and even though Ella was an early sitter as well...I think Madeline has her beat! She can sit on her own for a few minutes. I love these little milestones and watching her grow into this happy, sweet baby. She wakes up so smiley and giggly...I LOVE it. But I want time to slowwwww down. I miss her being a newborn and a teeny tiny baby.

Crazy Ella
Ella went to her 3 year appointment the first week of November. She's growing just great and even stood on the scale this time to be weighed without a screaming fit. She was rewarded with tons of stickers from the nurse and we came home to make jewelry. She's a crazy, fun toddler and she keeps my days REALLY busy!

Trick or Treat!
I know this blog post is a week overdue, but who is keeping track besides me? I have to say compared to last year, Ella had a blast trick or treating. It was a bit different this time because she got to go with friends and go house to house like a normal kid. Last year we were in Korea and they trick or treat in an apartment tower. She loved collecting candy and saying trick or treat, then running away yelling THANK YOU! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It was so cute. At one point we had to dump out her candy into the stroller because it was too heavy for her to carry and she thought we were taking away her pumpkin. "But I need to carry that!" We had a lot of fun and then came home to sing to Ella, eat ice cream cake (it's what she asked for!) and open more presents! I have always loved Halloween, but it's way more fun when you have children!

Our little Tinkerbell

Our sweet Mermaid (how stinkin cute is this costume on her?)

The shell headband completed the ensemble perfectly.

Thank goodness we had Iron Man Johnny Cole to protect us all.

Apparently photo time takes away from candy collecting time

Her wings lit up...LOVED them. She was a hit at every house:)

Me and my girls

I love this picture.

Talking to Gpa and Gma on the phone...she was a bit tired after walking a lot!

Our BIG 3 year old!!

Silvermist is her favorite fairy from Tinkerbell because she looks like Auntie Monica...so of course Auntie Monica had to send her one:)

It's cake time!

Making her wish

I hope it comes true Ella!
