On Mother's Day weekend (yes, I am still catching up), Ella performed with her dance school at the annual Arts for All festival here. I think I was more nervous than she was. She walked on stage, confident and smiling, and completed those ballet moves with grace and beauty. We were so proud of her. There's something so wonderful about watching your first-born, who has always been a shy child, dance in front of a huge audience. I know I personally couldn't do that, and to see her doing something she loves and makes her happy doing...makes me so happy.
Waiting to go on stage!
Madeline was not feeling well that day:(
Proud daddy!! He's only watched her dance from videos. He's always been gone:(
Ella is one of the first girls on stage...she will be the second girl from the right of the stage during the dance until the very end...then she's the second from the left:) It's hard to tell!
Madeline had a fever and fell asleep shortly after we got home. Gotta love that even though it's Mother's Day weekend...there is never a true break from being a mom.
Luckily after her nap, she felt much better and was able to enjoy her snow cone she got earlier at the festival
Oh my!! So many things to comment about!! First, love Ella the Ballerina!! I want a ballerina daughter!! :) Second, Sam looks like a little baby doll on your shoulder. Third, Maddie is freaking adorable. :) Love her post nap smile! Great post!
